The artist's musical journey has been nothing short of amazing, filled with exciting projects and collaborations that continue to push my creative boundaries. AsherMusik had the incredible opportunity to work with Farooq (Got Audio), contributing to three songs on the Heartbreak & Bass album. Currently, they are collaborating with Haider Ali, the co-producer of Asim Azhar’s latest album Bematlab, and diving deeper into their sound.

AsherMusik has already released tracks like 'Love Trip' and his next release 'Duniya' is set to drop on March 31, 2025.  Beyond music, their artistic path has expanded into acting. Asher has been cast as a second lead in a couple of music videos, which has not only been an exciting challenge but has also helped them refine their presence within their own music visuals.

"A huge shoutout to everyone who’s supported me along the way—especially Akash (director), Farooq (Got Audio), and Haider Ali—for believing in my vision."

Musically, AsherMusik is inspired by legends like Xulfi and Faraz Anwar, and they're just getting started on this journey to bring something fresh to the scene.

GET TO KNOW - completed March 2025
3 words to describe you:
Creative, Blessed and driven.

Describe your sound:
My sound is R&B, Afrobeat, and Punjabi/Urdu romantic vibes—a fresh and soulful mix that blends smooth melodies with rhythmic grooves. It’s got that modern R&B feel but with cultural depth, making it stand out in the South Asian and global music scene.

Describe the moment you knew that you wanted to pursue music:
Watching the band Call in  perform in 2007 was a game-changing moment for me. Their energy and music left such a lasting impact that it inspired me to pursue my own journey in music.

How does your heritage impact your art?
My heritage plays a huge role in shaping my music. Growing up surrounded by Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu influences, I naturally blend these languages into my R&B and Afrobeat-inspired sound. The rich melodies and deep storytelling traditions of South Asian music inspire the way I write and express emotions. It’s about fusing my cultural roots with modern genres to create something fresh yet familiar—bridging different musical worlds while staying true to who I am.

What moment are you most proud of in your music journey so far?
How far I have come with my skills of playing guitar and performing at so many places. Aswell as the people I’ve met in my musical journey.

Your next music goal:
Collaborate with my favourite artists and start doing more gigs this year

If you could collaborate with anyone, who and why?
I would love to collaborate with Talha Anjum because his songwriting carries a similar depth and meaning, but expressed through rap. It would be exciting to blend our styles and see how the collaboration resonates with both us as artists and our audience.

Your community shout out:
I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to three incredible individuals who have played a significant role in my journey as an artist. Their unwavering support, creative input, and belief in my potential have helped shape me, and I will always be grateful for their contributions.

@Farooqgotaudio – Farooq has been a major inspiration in encouraging me to create my own original music. Whenever I step into the studio with him, I know I’m in a space where creativity flows effortlessly, and the focus is entirely on making great music.

@filmedbyakash – When it comes to visuals, Akash Bhai is truly one of the best in the game. The way he captures moments on camera is nothing short of magic. His support throughout my projects has been invaluable, and I’m incredibly thankful for the role he has played in my artistic development.

@haidera_l_i – Haider Bhai has believed in me from the beginning and provided me with opportunities to compose music alongside him. His encouragement and support has been huge in my musical journey, and I will always appreciate his guidance.

I often feel that I don’t deserve this level of support, but I recognize how truly blessed I am to have these opportunities. Moving forward, I hope to give back and support other aspiring artists in the same way that these incredible individuals have supported me.
