Flipping the traditional love song narrative

Amna Askari’s “Maza” takes inspiration from the qawwali classic "Mere Rashke Qamar," blending it with an Afro/Latin groove and modern percussive house elements. Flipping the traditional love song narrative, she turns it into something playful, fun, and undeniably catchy.
