If it does, how does your heritage impact your art?
My heritage has shaped every aspect of my art - the way I formulate my lyrics, inspiration for my visuals, and the depth and nuance in my concepts. A lot of my inspiration comes from nostalgic Bollywood songs and movie.
If you could collaborate with anyone, who and why?
I would love to collaborate with Kali Uchis and Rema. A huge goal for me is to globalize South Asian sounds and bridge cultures together. I think Latin and Afrobeat sound would mix really well with mine.
