XTIE (pronounced X-T) is a singer, songwriter, and music producer. Aptly describing her music as “cosmic pop”, the Hong Kong producer-singer weaves shimmery yet sophisticated pop beats with candid stories about the universe with a fresh angle. Aiming to bridge the gap as a female Asian producer, her songs carry messages of self-love, body positivity and “the beauty of imperfections” and a boost of our self-confidence.  As a self-produced artist, she writes, arranges, produces, and performs her songs. Her production credits include stellar-level acts and TV shows from Hong Kong. She’s garnered support from Wonderland, Billboard ID, MTV Asia, BBC Radio, NOTION, Line Today TW, SCOUT Mag, etc. Her singles "Skin" , “Spaceship” and “frenemy” peaked No.1 on the RTHK Global chart.

If it does, how does your heritage impact your art?
My sounds have hints of Selena Gomez, Zara Larsson, with an Asian pop touch and I’d describe my music as “cosmic pop”, I am influenced by the best of both worlds for my artistry growing up in a city of East Meets West. I aim to bridge the gap as a female Asian producer. 

If you could collaborate with anyone, who and why?
Zara Larsson, she has been my idol and am so inspired by her voice, songwritting and performance.

Your next career/music goal:
To be able to tour outside Hong Kong and play my music live in different cities.
