Following years honing his skills behind the scenes as a producer/songwriter, Toronto-based Caj Flow discovered his voice as an artist in 2018. Showcasing his diverse cultural heritage and defiance of categorization, he seamlessly transitions across various genres, merging contemporary pop, hip-hop, and R&B.
Caj has independently released a multitude of singles, all self-produced, written, and recorded in his basement, until his breakout single “Kerala” reached international success, peaking at #6 on Spotify’s “India Viral 50” chart and earning recognition on the UK’s BBC Asian Network & Rolling Stone India. He then touched the hearts of a growing & dedicated fanbase with his indie pop hit "butterflies".

If it does, how does your heritage impact your art?
With my mixed identity, I've spent my whole life not fitting into any clearly defined box, and this translates into my work as well. I don't feel tied to one specific musical genre - i love to draw from various influences.
If you could collaborate with anyone, who and why?
I'd love to work with RAYE. She's incredible. I'm a big fan of artists who are fantastic songwriters. Same applies to Lauv and Zack Knight.
Your next career/music goal:
Just continuing to drop new singles every month, meeting and collaborating with new artists, and keep building the fanbase, one by one. :)
