GET TO KNOW - completed June 2024
3 words to describe you:
Energetic, Vibrant, Playful

3 words to describe your music:
Bouncy, Dynamic, Lively

Describe the moment you knew that you wanted to pursue music:
In middle school, I memorized the 3rd verse of Eminem's Rap God. For a week on the bus to school, I would 'perform' for everyone--and the joy that brought me sparked a desire for performance.

Years later, in freshman year of college, my friend showed me 'MOSHPIT' by Baby Keem. I fell in love, keeping the namesake for my own first song, produced by that same friend. Now I had my own art to perform.

How does your heritage impact your art?
I constantly look to my South Asian American peers and influences for inspiration. India (and the entire diaspora) have such a vibrant culture that's underrepresented in America, and I know that my peers and I have the unique opportunity to help define what it means to be Indian American, or South Asian American. I keep that with me in everything that I do.

What moment are you most proud of in your music journey so far?
In the Spring of 2022, I opened for Dominic Fike at USC's Springfest. I incorporated skits, stage design, and group choreography to bring the show alive, and it all landed perfectly. Seeing people reference that, to this day, brings a smile every time.

Your next career/music goal:
I want to tour, opening for artists like Abhi The Nomad, Rico Nasty, etc.

If you could collaborate with anyone, who and why?
Baby Keem--I'm in awe of his production and writing ability, and think he has one of the most unique sounds I've heard. Furthermore, I think he has a uniquely high energy that I draw a lot of inspiration from.

Top 3 go to songs/artists:
STATS - Baby Keem
Lord Pretty Flacko Jodye - A$AP Rocky
And then I got revenge - jev.

Words you live by:
It's not about making the right decision, It's about making the decision right.

Anything else you'd like to share:
